Jamb & Stop
Jambs are
flat surfaced boards that are used to line the
inside of door openings.
Typically, jambs come with either squared or
eased edges and are available in standard sizes,
i.e. 4-9/16” & 6-9/16”. A stop is applied over the jamb and serves the purpose
of stopping a door in its closed position preventing
swing through.
